Yes, the ceilings are a bit low. But the food is great.

And the communal baths even better (So I was told. Truth be told, I was too embarrassed to get into a bath with strange women, and there's no way I'd get into a bath with nude men.)
Happily, but uncomfortably, sleeping on the floor is de regeur (French lingo there). If you can get out of bed in the morning, it's okay.
