See my new Dell Inspiron 1525 Laptop! Ordered last Friday, received yesterday, all the way from Malaysia! (I don't know how that works.)
In any case, it's great to be reattached to the world.
(To answer your (unspoken) question, the old Inspiron 8200, 5 years old, just would not boot; cycle on, windows logo, blue screen, off, start again, windows logo, etc. etc. etc.)

Aha, I was wondering about the lack of posts. Congratulations! I believe an in-law of yours whom I see regularly has also just gotten a new laptop, of a different sort from Dell. (The logo has a bite taken out of it.:)
